DrummondJon Drummond, born in Sydney 1969, creates works for a variety of media including electroacoustic, live electronics, interactive media and web and installation. He has degrees in musical composition and computer science. Many of his acoustic and electronic compositions have been commissioned and performed by leading performers and ensembles around the country including Australysis, The Song Company, Voiceworks and watt. His computer music and installation work as has been presented in numerous Australian and international festivals and galleries.
Jon is extensively involved in researching new ways to interact with digital media. In 1997 he established the new media production company Squelch Multimedia a Sydney based new media design and consultancy.
