Introduction |
Raffæle Marcellino
Raffæle Marcellino graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with merit in 1985. Since that time he has had his music performed by various prominent ensembles including Synergy, The Sydney, Adelaide & Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras, The Sydney Front, The Song Company and the Seymour Group. In 1993 Raffæle represented Australia at FORUM 93 in Montréal with his work Iniquitous Symmetries and in 1994 Corbaccio was performed at the Adelaide Festival by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Porcelijn. In 1995 Raffæle was appointed Lecturer in Composition and Music Theory at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music and Director in 1996. Teaching interests include development of music theory courses, teaching musical creativity and the use of instructional technology in music. In 1995 he was awarded a small ARC grant for composition. |
